Banner Sumit (Boise National Forest): April 8-9, 2025
The Avalanche Science ASG4 course includes four field days, four hours of interactive classroom time, and eight hours of online material. The ASG4 exceeds the content of a AAA PRO 1.
Prerequisites:
ASG Alumni who completed Avalanche Science REC2+ or ASG3 or completed the equivalent of American Avalanche Association REC1 and REC2.
Two seasons of backcountry skiing.
Able to ski tour four consecutive days for a cumulative up to a total of 8-10,000 vertical feet.
