ASG1 Backcountry Essentials for motorized users

Target Participants:
Entry level motorized users or with limited experience on rescue and identification of avalanche terrain.
Content:
Introduction to Snowmobiling riding/
2-Day Companion Rescue fundamentals and practice
Backcountry snowmobile protocols and rituals.
Identification of avalanche terrain.
Pre-course material:
2-hour online
Course Format:
Limited Space: 6 participants per session
2 days of fieldwork and backcountry ski touring at Mores Creek Summit, Idaho City.
2-hour interactive classroom session with an instructor.
8-hours online video and multimedia material.
